Resolution: For small-pitch LED, higher pixels per inch means that the difficulty of stability design increases geometrically, pixel pitch decreases by 50%, and backplane density increases by 4 times, so the resolution of small-pitch LED is difficult to further improve. At present, cinemas have basically reached 2K level, so small spacing LED still cannot meet the standards of cinemas in terms of picture definition.
At the same time, in addition to poor heat dissipation, LED display screens are also prone to some problems, such as "bad spots". At present, most of the LED screens seen have bad spots more or less. Compared with the easy-to-care screen, the maintenance cost of the LED screen cannot be ignored.
In fact, that piece of cloth in the cinema is quite expensive, so is the projector. Items like 3D, laser, etc. are quite expensive. In fact, many LED screens can be assembled on the spot, and the size is not limited. Pieces of LED screens are assembled one by one, and the cost is not too high. Why are they not used in cinemas, mainly because the existing machines in cinemas still work well? New machines will increase costs. The other reasons are inertia and conformity.
